I'm business copywriter and content producer Kate Rimmington, an ex-BBC senior journalist.
I started my career working in London for a Big Four professional services firm in executive pay and tax. I then switched to journalism, eventually joining the BBC in Wales for 13 years. I interviewed hundreds of people and analysed information, boiling it all down into news reports and features. I series-produced and reported for a business radio programme, and wrote online stories that were read around the world. Since 2021 I have provided content and editing services to UK and international companies and organisations.
I've completed a Chartered Institute of Public Relations foundation course and an Award in Digital Copywriting from the Institute of Data and Marketing. Since the introduction of ChatGPT and other Large Language Models, I've experimented with different applications to stay up to date with what these tools can and cannot do, to ensure an efficient, trustworthy and high-quality service for my clients.
